Amalfi Coast Wedding Photography- Italy

,

For an Amalfi Coast wedding photographer the Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy is one of the most amazing breathtaking wedding venues. The main towns of Sorrento, Positano, Ravello, Capri and Amalfi nestle on the steep hillsides overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Amalfi Coast. There are endless possibilities for wedding photography on the Amalfi Coast, I have photographed on the beach at Positano, along the coast of Amalfi, amongst the stunning architecture of Sorrento town and one of my favourite locations Villa Rufolo in Ravello. All these locations are just a few of the amazing wedding venues or places for wedding photography along the Amalfi Coast.

Popular locations for the wedding ceremony in Sorrento and Amalfi are St Francesco Cloister, a stunning arched courtyard set amongst vines. Other stunning locations are Museo Correale di Terranova and Villa Fondi in Sorrento. Villa Fondi offers stunning elevated views across the bay of Sorrento and a gentle cooling breeze whilst you are getting married.

I work with a prestigious team of wedding planners who can create the perfect wedding of your dreams across the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Venice, Sicily and Lake Como to name a few. They can arrange weddings of any size in many locations such as Positano, Capri, Ravello, Sorrento, and other locations around Italy such as Rome, Venice, Siena and Florence. A wedding planner is an essential  component for a destination wedding as they will take care of all the details for your wedding in Italy; they can customise every single aspect of your wedding to deliver a very personal bespoke wedding package to suit your every need.

My destination wedding photography packages include a fully inclusive package with options to add poolside BBQ party coverage the day after your wedding or an engagement shoot prior to your wedding. A moment in time, captured forever.

As the sun goes down and your experiences turn to memories of the day, my photography will capture the moments forever.

Sorrento Wedding Photography

I get to visit some amazing locations as a destination wedding photographer and one of them is the stunning wedding location of Sorrento. One of the many things I love about being a Sorrento wedding photographer, are the beautiful and varied backdrops the town offers me in wedding photos.  I just love the Sorrento sunsets and I am spoilt for choice at sunset, or walking through the bustling Sorrento streets.

There are many choices for a bespoke Sorrento wedding, you can choose to get married at the Cloisters or Villa Fondi in town, or have your full wedding at a private villa such as a Villa Antiche Mura wedding or Hotel Mediterraneo wedding.

Positano Wedding Photographer

For an Amalfi Coast wedding you have to consider a wedding in Positano which can only be described as one of Italy’s most enchanting landscapes.  Famed for its warm climate, lively ambiance and vibrant Mediterranean colours, Postiano is understandably a popular choice for destination weddings.

If you choose to have your destination wedding in Postiano, you can get married in the town hall on the top of the hill with amazing views over the sea looking out over the Amalfi Coast. If you want something a little more bespoke then I would recommend a wedding at the Palazzo Murat Hotel which is a little bit of heaven right in the heart of Positano.

I always love returning to be an Amalfi Coast wedding photographer.  A 50-kilometre stretch of coastline along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula in the Campania region, the Amalfi Coast is characterised by sheer cliffs, a rugged shoreline, small beaches and pastel-coloured fishing villages.  Its beauty is so renowned that it has been designated a UNESCO site as an outstanding example of a Mediterranean landscape.  The coastal roads wind past terraced vineyards, forests, rocky areas, scented cliff side lemon groves and grand villas, many of which are fantastic exclusive use wedding venues.

Bursting with historical and cultural attractions, charming coastal villages and delicious fresh coastal cuisine.  Amalfi Coast is a popular tourist destination and has a well-earned reputation for attracting the rich and famous to its rugged shores.

Take coastal path walks for spectacular views.  Buy exquisite handmade ceramics found all along the coast.  Explore ancient churches and enjoy a coffee in the charming piazza’s. Or soak up the sun one of Amalfi Coast’s beautiful beaches. Visit some of the most stunning gardens in the Mediterranean.  Or take a drive along the coastal roads from Sorrento to Salerno whilst taking in the magnificent views.

Amalfi Coast has some simply amazing islands, towns and villages. Upmarket Capri is an island in Italy’s Bay of Naples.  Upscale hotels, elegant boutiques and artistic and cultural treasures have attracted mega yachts to its cove studded coastline.  One of its best-known sites is The Blue Grotto, a dark cavern where the sea glows electric blue.  If you’re looking for an uber-chic Italian wedding by the sea then Capri is for you.

Seen from the sea, the view of Postiano is of pastel-hued houses clinging to the cliffside.  Giving visitors an air of excitement before even setting foot on land.  Explore its many stairways and alleyways and take a visit to the architectural spectacle that is the Church of Satna Maria Assunta, just a stone’s throw from the beach.  Postiano is where stunning coastline and scenery meet luxury and high society.  The ideal location for a picture-perfect wedding.

Perched on a hill over 350 metres above sea level, the municipality of Ravello offers simply spectacular views.  This natural balcony offers one of the most beautiful coastline views in the world.  Expect ancient villas set in scented flowering gardens and endless historical and cultural events that celebrate this ancient and dreamlike village.
