Paul and Michelle’s Wedding- Hazlewood Castle
Hazlewood Castle Wedding- Yorkshire Premier Wedding Venue
Paul and Michelle had months of planning for their big day. We had been sharing photo ideas via an online scrapbook leading up to the day which gave me a clear idea of the style of photos they wanted. Michelle’s dress was outstanding and I was pleased to see she was ready for all weather with a pair of Jimmy Choos and a pair of Hunter wellington boots, just in case! Paul had a relaxing morning and a few drinks with the boys in The Coach and Horses before coming over to Hazlewood Castle.
As Michelle got into her dress for the wedding she just looked amazing and not even the looming clouds could dampen the day. After a very personal wedding service we braced the wind and cold weather and made a run for some shots outside. Both Paul and Michelle were fantastic and patient to grab a few shots in those conditions, then as the rain started we made a run for the bar for a drink and a warm up!
The wedding breakfast was a lively experience! One of the loudest, most fun receptions I have ever had the pleasure to photograph. I am sure that was nothing to do with the drinking games or the miniature bottles of Jagermeister on the tables but the atmosphere was excellent and great fun. I left after the first dance but I am still hearing rumours of some people not seeing the last orders at the bar as they had to “lie down”, was the groom one of those, who knows but feel free to comment below!!…….
Here are a few photos from the day, to see the remainder of the images please go to my Client Area where you can order online.
