Hartwell House Wedding

I first met Chloe and Andrew last year at the Great Barn wedding exhibition in Banbury, Oxfordshire. I remember them coming to chat to me and getting very excited about my relaxed style fitting in with their wedding plans. At that time they had not confirmed a wedding venue and I soon got an excited Chloe on the phone to say they had confirmed Hartwell House in Buckinghamshire for their morning preparations then onto Notley Tythe Barn for the wedding and reception.

Hartwell House is an impressive venue, set in its own grounds and beautiful rooms for getting ready in made it the perfect setting. The boys played crouquet on the lawns whilst the girls  were pampered upstairs. Chloe was so relaxed all day, she enjoyed the champagne whilst her hair and make up was done. I was able to get some great documentary style photos as the day unfolded making for nice relaxed intrusive wedding photography. When it was time for Chloe to travel from Hartwell House to Notley Tythe Barn she was in for a little surprise as the electric gates into the wedding venue were jammed stuck! Chloe took this all in her stride and made it to the wedding only two minutes late.

Notley Tythe Barn was a great venue for the wedding ceremony with the stunning oak beams wrapped with fairy lights. The weather was kind to us and all the guests enjoyed the gardens whilst I got some photos of Chloe and Andrew.
