As a wedding photographer I have the best job and I get to go to some amazing places. One of my favourite wedding locations is the Amalfi Coast in Italy and in particular Palazzo Murat wedding photography. The main location for weddings in that area is in Sorrento town, however if you look a little further along the coast there are some more stunning locations to get married. One such place is the Palazzo Murat in Positano which is nestled just above the main town.

The year before Amy and Olly contacted me and asked to photograph their wedding at the Palazzo Murat Hotel I had been in Positano on a day trip whilst photographing another wedding in Sorrento. Whilst I walked the small streets of Positano I saw this amazing entrance to a stunning boutique hotel, whilst I peeked into the grounds I wished I could one day return there to stay. When Amy and Olly booked me to be their wedding photographer at that the Palazzo Murat I found out, it was the same hotel I had hoped to return to.

WEDDING CEREMONY AT PALAZZO MURAT POSITANO

Amy got ready at the Palazzo Murat on the morning of the wedding. The room was fantastic with a balcony looking over the hotel gardens and views out to the Amalfi Coast. Amy was so relaxed, they had planned it that way with only very close family and friends with them on the their wedding day. The wedding ceremony was held at the Positano Town Hall which is just a short trip up the hill to the top of the town. After the ceremony we all returned back to the Palazzo Murat to enjoy some prosecco on the Italian Terrace then later a stunning meal by the poolside as the sun went down.

PALAZZO MURAT BOUTIQUE HOTEL

Palazzo Murat is a real gem of a hotel set in the stunning small fishing town of Positano.
