I met up with Becky and Chris recently at Sandburn Hall near York for their engagement shoot. I first met them at her brothers wedding that I photographed down in Cornwall some years ago. It is always great to have that prior working relationship as it makes for a more relaxed photo shoot.

Sandburn Hall offers many photography opportunities with its mix of oak beams and modern brickwork. I couldn’t resist thought using a neighboring farmers field full of gorgeous yellow rape seed. It offered an amazing photo opportunitiy very similar to when I am photographing my romantic Italian weddings in the sunflower fields of Tuscany.
