Steve and Denise- Leeds Club Wedding
Leeds Town Hall was the venue for the marriage of Steve and Denise followed by a short walk to The Leeds Club for the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. Both venues are commanding Victorian styled buildings in the centre of Leeds and make for the perfect location for relaxed informal weddings. Relaxed and informal was the order of the day, right from the very first meeting with Steve and Denise it was apparent they wanted an amazing day with family and friends in intimate surroundings and The Leeds Club gave them all that.

Having such a central location with guests walking between venues is great for my documentary style wedding photography, there was some great black and white photo opportunities. These were mixed in with some more dramatic urban portrait style photos as I wanted to make a few photos that went against tradition for wedding photograph. That saw us grabbing a few photos in shop doorways and in the street ahead of returning Steve and Denise back to their friends for more documentary style wedding photography.
We had an amazing day, the guys in their kilts added to the style of the day. Both Steve and Denise fly out to Sandy Lane Hotel in Barbados today so I know they will be reading this from the airport lounge flying onto their honeymoon. If you love the photos please feel free to leave a comment below for Steve and Denise who I know are very excited to see the remaining photos after their relaxing time at Sandy Lane.
